I have wanted to be a nurse for as long as I can remember. My parents tell stories of how I lined up my dolls and stuffed animals, pretending they were in the hospital and I was their nurse. In High School, I was part of the Health Care Program and volunteered in the Emergency Room at just 16 years old. I attended DeSales University and graduated in 2013 with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I worked in an Emergency Room for almost 10 years, dabbled in surgical center nursing, both pre and post-operative, and started my own Natural Family Planning business in 2018 which I did for about 5 years. I then began infusion nursing in 2021- I started by doing Ketamine infusions at a psychiatrist office and now my own business, Amanda Khanjian Wellness, where I offer various vitamin and mineral infusions, and more! Although I absolutely love being a nurse, nothing brings me more joy than being a wife and mother.

Growing up, I was convinced I would eventually become a Marine Biologist, living at the shore and working with orca whales. However, a random college elective had me set foot in a children's hospital and from that moment on, I knew I should have been a nurse. I worked my way through a second degree in nursing in my thirties and started living my dream career. I worked in the emergency room for three years, the last months while pregnant during the covid pandemic. from there I settled into a career in oncology, working in outpatient infusion for the last six years. While I missed the adrenaline rush of the ER, I so enjoyed the close relationships I built with my oncology patients. Outside of nursing, I spent many years coaching CrossFit at a local gym with members that became family. I have brought these skills and my love and dedication to health and fitness home for my husband and two beautiful daughters.
